RT Book Reviews said:
“Stroke of Midnight is the epitome of a page-turner. The multi-dimensional characters are vulnerable and simply pulsate with unbridled lust and passion. Christopher succeeds in not only crafting an ultra-hot tale, but in developing a true-to-life story with a well-rounded, thematic plot and great characters. The overall message is an important one: go for what you want and believe you deserve what you get.”

DUSK UNTIL DAWN is LIVE and out in the world!!! I am so excited to share this book with you!!!! Since it’s also #TeaserTuesday, get a load of what happens when Javi and Maya finally give in to their mad chemistry….
Dusk Until Dawn is coming in LESS THAN TWO WEEKS!!!!! Some early reviews are already coming in, and apparently Javi and Maya are hitting readers in the feels, which is like catnip for a writer.
I’ve started posting teasers over on my Facebook Page–which you should totally follow if you don’t, and I thought I’d post last week’s #TeaserTuesday post here:
“This isn’t about getting my dick wet, Maya.”
“How do I know that?”
“Because, if it was, I wouldn’t consider a ten thousand dollar suit a small price to pay for seeing you smile with satisfaction.”
She laughed. “I’m sorry about the suit.”
He shook his head and a few strands of the hair she’d pulled out of his ponytail hit his face. “No, you’re not. But I don’t want you to be sorry. I want you to say yes.”
“Why? Give me one good reason.” She didn’t know whether she was rooting for him to fail or rooting for him to succeed.
He cocked his head to one side and licked his bottom lip. Lech. “Remember what I said when I promised to let you go?”
Of course she did. Nothing about that conversation had faded from her memory. “That this doesn’t mean that we’re not still friends.”
“We are still friends, Maya. A ruined suit and the way I want to fuck you six ways until next week doesn’t change that. I haven’t had anything like our friendship in a long time, and I miss you.”
If you want to find out what happens when Javi and Maya try to rekindle their friendship, make sure you pre-order Dusk Until Dawn today!
Can you believe I was able to keep that little beauty to myself for WEEKS AND WEEKS!? I thought I as going to burst open when I saw how gorgeous and perfect Carla and Jonah’s cover was. This book…I didn’t know if I was going to like Carla when I started it. If you’ve read STROKE OF MIDNIGHT, you know that she’s kind of a brat, and I wasn’t sure I could make myself (or readers) love her. But, I do love her, and I hope you will too! The secret is the hero, Jonah Kane. He pulls on all of Carla’s strings. When they get together, it is FIRE!!!!
But don’t take my word for it, make sure this book lands on your e-readers at midnight on September 12, 2017 (so close, yet so far!)
Okay, so I know I’m leaving books I liked off this list. I’m probably even forgetting to include books I LOVED on this list, but the cool kids are making lists of books they loved during the suckiest year of them all, 2016.
These are the books that have inspired me over the past years as I was getting ready to debut STROKE OF MIDNIGHT, which comes out on January 3, 2017. I should also be writing my own book right now, so it seems sensible to spend an hour doing this.
Here’s my list:
Best Dirty Talk (And Dirty Action TBH):
I don’t think I need to elaborate too much with these. Let me just say this: Tessa needs to write me a boyfriend who will actually come to life outside my head. And James, the hero in THE WEDDING PACT, is as close as I’ll get to experiencing one of those gifs of Charlie Hunnam banging someone on SoA as I’ll get in this lifetime.
THE WEDDING PACT by Katee Robert
Best Slow Burn:
I’m not usually one for a slow-burn romance, but I picked up both of these books based on recommendations from Tessa Bailey, and I wasn’t sorry. Both of these books kept me up way too late. Why? It’s the voice and the heroes. Debut author, Sally Thorne, is so good that it makes me angry. Her POV is so close that you feel every iota of the heroine’s angst about loving to hate her annoying (but sexy) co-worker. And the hero is THE WALL OF WINNIPEG AND ME is a vegan football player with a protective streak as long as you have to wait until they get together.
THE WALL OF WINNIPEG AND ME by Mariana Zapata
Best Virgin Hero
Charlotte Stein is one of the best writers out there. If you’re not reading her, I’m not sure that we can be friends. She made a former bully hero work for me, and I was bullied. She’s fucking magical. Read this book.
NEVER SWEETER by Charlotte Stein
Best Rockers and Bikers and Criminals (Oh my!)
I don’t know what it says about me that this year’s favorite books are dominated by an assortment of badass heroines, bikers, con artists, straight-up convicts, and rockers. But I would want all of these heroines on my side in a knife fight, and heroes who don’t give a fuck are really ringing my bell right now. And Molly “M.” O’Keefe could write about aliens doing butt stuff, and I would read it–the fact that she wrote about a biker kidnapped by a stripper is simply an up sell.
BURN DOWN THE NIGHT by M. O’Keefe
IDOL by Kristen Callihan
BEAUTIFUL CRAZY by Kasey Lane
(Note: Kasey and I share an agent, but I wouldn’t put her on this list if I didn’t LURVE this book.)
DEVIL’S HONOR by Megan Crane
THE PLAYER by Kresley Cole
ALL CHAINED UP by Sophie Jordan
